How does your HDTV picture compare with those in the slide show? These photos are representative* of the greater clarity offered by HDTV compared to a "noisy" analog TV. The picture you are experiencing on your HDTV may be somewhere between these extremes, especially if you are receiving a standard digital signal (SDTV) from cable or satellite sources. If you have HDTV programming, your picture should look very clear, like the simulated HDTV slides. If your picture is as good as the pictures labeled "Simulated HDTV", you may be getting the most from your equipment. If your picture looks more like the slides labeled, "Noisy Analog TV", read on...
